Literacy Volunteers of Tifton

About Us:

Literacy Volunteers of Tift-Tifton is a nonprofit in Tift County that is part of the statewide Certified Literate Community Program (CLCP), a partnership with the Technical College System of Georgia. Our Mission is to help improve adult literacy in Tift County.

Current Goals:

Raise $2,000 for GED scholarships to cover Tift County residence
Raise $4,000 to cover transportation costs, including public transportation and gas scholarships

Current Projects:

Free English class for anyone! Tuesday at the Tift County Public Library and Saturday at the Bateman Youth Center
Provide free tutoring services to any adult in Tift County
